Crystals for Spicing up Romance :) – The Root and Sacral Chakras

I think we all have a pretty good idea about how to rekindle the passion, or to spice things up in our romantic lives, and if we need some ideas there is an abundance of books, magazines, websites, and friends who will be very happy to give guidance on how to get that spark either going, or going again 🙂

I am sharing a few crystals that work with different Chakras that you can use separately or combined in a grid to give a boost in the romance department.  These crystals basically work with the Root Chakra (usually red colored crystals, but not always), and the Sacral Chakra (usually Orange colored crystals, but not always).

 

Root Chakra:  carries the concept of “I am” and is geared towards physicality.  It is very much related to our feelings, pleasure, and pain.  Red crystals are known for bolstering vitality and are used many times in crystal grids with the intent of repairing, maintaining, and improving relationships. Black crystals are also used with the Root Chakra.

Sacral Chakra:  Orange colored crystals work on joy, family, and pleasure, among other things.

Orange Calcite – use to energize the Root and Sacral Chakras.  These crystals will bring positive energy to sexuality, and also happen to be helpful with emotional issues.
Fire Agate – stimulates a zest for living, awakens the lower Chakras and inspires sexuality and will.   It is many times used in crystal grids addressing fear of intimacy issues and impotence.
Carnelian – works with the Sacral Chakra and has an energy of emotion, passion, warmth, and enthusiasm.
Garnet – works with the Root Chakra and brings serenity or passion, depending on your needs at the time, balances the sex drive and can inspire love.
Black Obsidian, Smoky Quartz, and Black Onyx – are Root Chakra crystals and help with grounding so they would be a nice addition to a combination of the red or orange crystals.
Prehnite is a Solar Plexus Chakra crystal, but I have added it as it helps you to feel more peaceful and relaxed, as well as encouraging bonding in relationships. I thought I would add Prehnite for these relaxation and bonding properties.  Two other crystals worth mentioning are Rose Quartz and Clear Quartz.  Rose Quartz is a loving crystal and Clear Quartz amplifies the energies of other crystals 🙂
